Edge AI computing is a decentralized computing architecture that moves AI applications, data, and services from network center nodes to network edge nodes.
A traditional cloud-based data collection and analysis system employs a 6-step process: data acquisition, transmission, storage, conversion, data analysis, and big data analysis. In contrast, an Edge AI-based data collection and analysis system employs a 3-step structure: AI edge data analysis, transmission, and big data analysis.
Since the edge nodes are closer to the data source, data analysis can be sped up, reducing the backhaul data bandwidth requirements up to 400x, and reducing latency.

M1-H3 is suitable for an Indoor/outdoor AI Edge Inference System. It provides 2 POE (PSE
outputs) for cameras and 1 HDD/SSD for data storage.
NC-H1 is the smallest embedded Indoor/outdoor AI Edge Inference System. It provides 1 POE (PD input) for a camera and 1 SD Card for data storage
